At the Annual General Meeting of Southwell & District Agricultural Society on Monday 11th March 2024, members came together to reflect on the achievements of the group over the past 12 months with several successful events including the annual Ploughing Match and Show held at the end of September.
Members were congratulated by the Society Chairman, Pete White, for their commendable efforts dedicated to the Society and undoubtedly another successful 2023 show.
One particular member was recognised for their outstanding contributions to Southwell & District Agricultural Society over many years, Bruce Ashworth was awarded the Frank Reynolds Trophy by the Chairman and the committee showed their appreciation and congratulations by showing a round of applause.
Well done Bruce, very well deserved and thank you for your continued guidance and support for the Society, we wish you many more years part of our team!
