At Southwell and District Agricultural Society, we are proud to support local charities and community organisations, and our ongoing support for Stonebridge City Farm is a great example of how we can make a difference through both financial contributions and practical help.

As well as providing an annual financial donation to the farm, we have recently helped address some important practical needs. Improvements have been made to the entrance gates to provide better access, and two trailer loads of accumulated muck have been removed and taken away. Arrangements are also being put in place to provide a skip and regular emptying as required, helping to manage the problem going forward.

This support has helped resolve a significant issue for the farm, which is very grateful for the assistance. By using our agricultural knowledge, contacts and resources, we can help find practical solutions to challenges that might otherwise be difficult to overcome.

Stonebridge City Farm, based in St Ann’s, Nottingham, is a community charity offering a welcoming space where people can enjoy farm animals, gardens and green spaces. It also provides opportunities for volunteering, learning new skills and bringing people together. The farm plays a valuable role in its local community.

We are delighted to support the important work Stonebridge City Farm does, both through our annual donation and by helping with practical projects when the need arises. It is a great example of how our Society can support worthwhile causes and make a positive difference in the wider community.
