The annual Southwell Ploughing Match Summer Party is back, this year being even more family orientated with garden games and an agricultural themed inflatable assault course! Taking place on Friday 16th June in Oxton by kind permission of Mrs Emma and Richard Cross of Oxton Estate, the Summer Party is an event not to be missed with an abundance of delicious local food vendors and a fully stocked bar, including locally brewed craft ale from Jacaranda Brewing Co at Brinkley, Southwell.
Live music from funky brass band Rio Brass will kick start the carnival-like atmosphere and ease guest in to the summer evening before the party steps up a notch with DJ AC playing tunes late in to the night.
Adult tickets are £25 each which guarentees entry in to the event, plus TWO food vouchers to be used any any of our fantastic local food vendors. We’re delighted to have Bofs Hogs serving delicious pork rolls, The Peel: Wood Fired Kitchen will be there serving handmade wood fired pizzas, and not forgetting The Gastropod serving their fantastic Gyros and much more! Nottinghamshire made Thaymar ice-cream will be available too for a sweet treat to round off an evening of fabulous local food.
